I chose to feature Balance by ~applecorekevin on Traditional Art Day because to me it reflects a fundamental quality of the creative process. It is not about the technique, not about posterity or the artist's ego, not about getting a reaction. In this ephemeral, basic cairn i see the selfless act of creation: taking something with your hands and making something new from them, with everything else cast aside.
